When i was a kid i used to put flys in my air rifle and shoot them at walls (and people).. they made an awful mess and stung like crazy! Much like sticking your head out of a car window or riding a bike at 100kph and coping one in the face..
The fly couldn't "fly" fast enough itself to do that kind of damage though, it needed "supercharging" from compressed air to help!

But i digress...
