A bit of an update for me too, the dealer reckons it would be a waste of time asking Ford to replace the rim, he said if it's at all possible they will weasel their way out of warranty claims, he said they are having a lot of trouble getting Ford to approve repairs on rusty Falcons at the moment and how they have heaps of them backed up waiting to have rust fixed let alone things they can say, dude you ran over a gutter, Which I replied with.... man you can't get within a meter of a gutter in one of these things if you want to keep your bumper :s? and he goes, your right! they are so low.
Anyway I also asked about the leading edge on the rear quarter and stone chips and he reckons that would be no real problem since it's a known issue and admitted and fixed during the run by Ford EU etc so I might have to look into having that patched up at some stage soon. It's hard though, is the stress of arguing really worth the paint when the rest of the car has been so good
and at least they don't rust
. My father tried to get a towbar put on his AU but there's was nothing left to bolt it onto haha, And that car already had nearly 3 grand worth of rust fixed under warranty when it was almost new :P
Danny you really need to get a updated tune in that thing, it's worth a good 50ks a tank, no problem
