A lot of people have seen the problems with globalisation for decades. The fundamental problem is:
Politicians only want your vote and your money.
Literally 9/10 votes don't matter.
The people who determine who gets into government, swing voters in marginal seats, don't think about politics until it directly affects them. They tune in 1 week before the election, check who is offering the biggest barrel of pork and vote accordingly.
That is why we are f'd...and typing stuff on the internet won't change a damn thing.
