Hadn't heard anything back by lunchtime, so contacted the hospital to chase up the test results.

After a little bit of faffing around to get the right department, the test results were relayed to me: negative.

Funny thing is the nurse then said that if she's not showing anymore symptoms, we were right to cease self-isolation. That doesn't make sense to me. If she has the same symptoms now as when she reported and was tested, and the results came back as negative, then why the need to continue self-isolation?

Anyway, we are free again....
