But what are the figures ?

71 confirmed reinfections 2 confirmed deaths
This makes the likelihood of death from reinfection worse than first infections, but 71 in 32.5 million is very low indeed (2 in a million)
Suspected, unconfirmed reinfections are noticeably worse than confirmed - but indicates a much more survivable situation
34,407 leading to 38 deaths
So worst case it is about a 1:1,000 chance of reinfection, and then another 1:1,000 chance of death
For context I read somewhere that 1:1,000,000 was about the chance of death resulting from a weekend ski holiday
