Alan baby pivots quickly - all the A380s were sent to the boneyard last year and won't be back. The 787s will be used between Auckland and Perth and Singapore and back to Sydney/Melbourne. He will have been well briefed by ScoMo and Josh.
Expect support measures in the budget. Australia needs its national carrier.
