Probably because there are 160 approved for sale. Its potentially a flooded market, so the returns are shaky.
Yes, RATs are currently the new toilet paper, but that can change in a matter of weeks. The South African omicron wave was over in a month. Given that we're not imposing major restrictions to draw this out, it's not unreasonable to think ours wont be a similar timeframe.
The other kits suppliers have probably decided that by the time they get approved and get stock into the country, the opportunity to make $$ will have passed. It would be a different story if this was likely to drag on for 3 months or more.
