thus shows we have been open and we will be open again even tho we arnt water tight closed atm
and dont take this as the full answer to your entire comment
tho ive read often we how we should be doing things from people from the eastern states that are having the the problems you say we are about to expect
so should we re open prier to getting to the vaccine saturation youve all achieved even tho our vaccine rate is still climbing ?? and let it run potentially worse that it has ran in the east ??

I personally think the eastern states have handled this opening of the borders badly. We have gone from strict restrictions to basically free overnight, in the scheme of things. There was no gradual easing in and it should have started earlier. There was no plan to prepare people. Just jump in the deep end in because, I believe, these idiot Premiers are playing political popularity games knowing their states wont stand for another Christmas locked down.
The fact they opened the borders and eased all these restrictions at the busiest time of the year, on top of everything else, is mindboggling to me. Even if there are alot of families and business who are thankful for it.
P.S. I am not saying it was unwelcomed or should it have been delayed any longer. Just the planning, execution and dealing with expected outcomes were certainly below par.
So what do you think will happen to WA on the 5th of February when, if McClown is true to his word, reopens the border and drops restrictions?

when we make the % rate set to reopen and we do reopen i my self would be no less surprised that we end up in a similar situation to what the east have , but hopefully with a higher vaccinated % hopefully it wont be as bad as opening now
p.s. it has been stated for a while now that there will restrictions imposed that we havent had on the main from then , like mask wearing on public transport and such tho i highly doubt that will be the case of joe public vaccinated or not

so you believe that things would be better for us not worse if we just well listen to the ones on here and tell us we should be fully open now ?

In some cases they are hiring undesirable workers for certain positions. Like one mine who hired a known and convicted alcoholic, with an outstanding offense, to drive and maintain heavy vehicles. Surely that's not normal.

you stating this kind of stuff has never happened any where else nor prier to the pandemic
big companies have been doing such for ages
and as for pollies being in bed with them instead of the worker such had been the situation for years prier too and not just one state or federal either
tho i am employed full time and have accrued my seconded amount of annual leave

if /when we hit the % rate expected to open , i hope he does open nor will i be surprised if he tries to change his plan , tho unless he can sell the reason to change i cant see it going down well for him
now why is it that even tho like the other states we have a plan to re open , so many believe justified in sharing their real life experiences to justify anothers state to reopen at their time frame with their believed hype that we havent done stuff
and nor had i in any of the above comments
i have only replied at how they feel our state needs to conform to wear they currently see them selfs
albeit my original comment was replying to some one blaming the french population for bringing a euro variant to not just australia but wa
a variant that i hope is no worse or more dominant that the omnicron
