99,542 new cases for Australia and 23 deaths so the CMR is 0.242%.


NZ recorded 148 cases (over two days) and 0 deaths for a CMR of 0.348%.

The UK recorded 141,398 cases and 97 deaths for a CMR of 1.037%.

468,467 new cases in the USA yesterday and 671 deaths sees CMR at 1.409%.

Other notable points: (weekend reporting)
Global cases pass 307M, the last 2M in 1 day;
Europe passes 96M cases;
North America passes 72M cases;
South America passes 41M cases;
The USA passes 61M cases;

Guinea (534);
Faeroe Islands (853);
Mali (1,217);
Kuwait (2,999) – the 5th consecutive day;
Qatar (3,689);
Peru (16,135) – the previous high (13,326) on 15/4/21;
Philippines (28,707); and
Mexico (30,671)

... all recorded new highs; those in blue for the second consecutive day and those in red for a third or more consecutive day.

Japan moves above the 90th percentile for the 10 day period and no countries drop below.
