Annoying as it is, atleast its not sidewall.
Last time i picked up a screw, dunno if this is true or not, the tyre shop said they cant plug tyres anymore. They took the tyre off the rim and patched it internally. Whatever, it worked.
However you can still buy plug kits from supercheap/repco wherever. Picked one up a couple months ago for my brother who had a nail in the rear tyre of his motorcycle. It has held up fine. He is due a new rear tyre now, so it has lasted surprisingly as sports bike tyres are different to car tyres.
