For me its all well and good that the operator takes personal precautions but alot of these products have withholding periods that aren't often observed.

I worked in a nursery as a junior, alot of people, me included were getting sick with chronic fatigue symptoms. Turns out the owner who lived on site would go out and spray insecticides in the hot houses at night. A few hours later we'd be in there working.
I've seen it on the golf courses too, spraying gnarly chems an hour before play. You pull the flag out or pick up your ball and you've made direct contact.

Things do seem to be getting better with new generation chems but for alot of us the damage may have already been done.
