And all this is apparently on their memo system after my calls.

Send off the letter, my return address is my PO BOX, the same one I want to use to make my mailing address for my company.

They reply, by mail stating they can't process my request as the paperwork is missing the Corporate Key.

They sent the reply to the PO BOX I requested the change be made to.

You couldn't make it up if you tried....
It gets better...

I tried to call them (again) and couldn't get through. So I send another online enquiry. I explain in great detail what I was told to do, and how stupid they were to request I provide something they told me not to provide. I also clearly indicated that they didn't read anything I sent, and that the reply I got was a generic 'copy and paste' reply.

Waited a few days and got this response:

Thanks for your enquiry.

We can confirm a Form 484, change to company details, was received on 23 January 2023, however we require further information before the lodgement can be fully processed.

On 25 January 2023 we returned Form 484 to the lodging party, along with a covering letter explaining what information is required.

Once you amend the Form 484, please return this at your earliest convenience by posting the completed lodgement to:

ASIC
GPO Box 4000
Gippsland Mail Centre 3840

I almost punched a hole through the laptop screen....

Back to trying to call them. Nope... we are busy, call back later.

Make another document and include all the BS previous correspondence. Threw in a few choice phrases about how they are robots that can't deviate from a script and they don't bother reading anything sent to them.

Told them my patience was wearing thin, and to get your bloody act together.

I felt better after that.... petty, I know. They can either ignore me, call me, or send me another 'we did not get a reply from our previous request'.

Well.. it seems it finally landed on the lap of a person that can read and comprehend basic English...

Why can they somewhat read? Because all that they have requested was in the original cover letter sent the very first time..

Oh well. Will make Mr ASIC happy and send everything off - again.

Lets see what they come back with next time....
