Google won't get involved unless legal action has been initiated.
We just reply to the review. Most people would read the reply and make their own mind up.
In 1 case a person gave us a bad review, then took us to consumer affairs. We provided documentation and video evidence to absolutely 100% clear us, consumer affairs guy was happy we had no case to answer.
