Woolworths and Coles both do that occasionally with soft drinks. Eg. Pepsi Max 2.0L bottle is on special for $2.00 while the 1.2L bottle is $3.10.
Edit: the 600ml bottles in the refrigerated section are always more expensive than both the 1.25L and 2.0L.
