...when I'm doing an oil change in the driveway, and expecting a delivery from Ebay.Finished doing the oil around 5.30pm.Still no delivery. 'Shut up shop' and call it day, jump on this thing (laptop)to find a message from Ebay:

telling me it's been delivered. Like Major WTAF here.Have people become
that reluctant to interact these days or what?Could it possibly have led to a chat that might have taken 25 seconds out of 'your' run time? Yes.I give in. Not a fan of how Technology is making people more and more anti social.Seems to me like the only people that are still "normal" are: (to name a few)
- Other fellow truck drivers
- Storeman that receive what I'm delivering
- Checkout chicks
- People at the bank
- Shop assistants
etc etc etc.Lets not forget to mention the guys at the lower end of the food chain. Centrelink recipients.A homeless guy pushing a shopping trolley the other day at the shops for example, I say G'day, then he proceed to have a chat with me for a few minutes. Didn't ask me for anything, smokes, bus fare, booze etc. He was just happy to have some 'face time' with another human being.Cheers,One gregarious Mad Man
