Haven’t cleaned yet, but I suspect the alloys received a light sandblasting type effect.
Had it happen a few times though, a couple of years ago I had to turn around 50km into a trip when it sent me down a dirt road in a rental, a Seat Leon. Or whatever they’re called. VW Golf GTi in drag.
