Old bloke who taught me many moons ago chucked me the keys to his WB, told me tot ake it out onto the local backroads and drive as fast as I felt comfortable, his logic was (and proved true) that by the time i got into trouble, all I had to do was get off the loud pedal and let go of the wheel and the ol girl would sort herself out....
Only time it didnt work out was thrashing XE/XF Falcons on dirt roads and my ambition got a little too big for its britches....
