My 1st driving was at about 12yo, mates Dad built him a beautiful Jawa powered Go-Cart,
We would run on the local hard but slippery salt pan. Drive there on the road of course
with me hanging off the back.
At 15 i "took" Dads beloved SuperBug for a run around the local area. Never got caught out & knew how to operate it from watching him.
Most experience was 18-20yo driving a mid ? 70's Landcruiser ute on dirt - gravel roads out of Kalgoorlie. Didn't get a car licence till i was 20, although the boss out there presumed i did.
