take a look at the s2000
long engine bay with the engine mounted right back (to get a perfect weight distribution) and the front wheels are very close to the front and rears very close to the rear. so you have 50/50 weight distribution and the longest wheel base possible on a very small car. awesome engineering.

i dont know if the holden nobs meant it like that though.
