Default Pictures/info re BA/BF Turbo Upper ICC Cover

Hi ...... anyone?

now my serious question is

does anyone have pics of their original BA/BF factory turbo ICC cover and pics of what it looks like from the drivers seat?. the aftermarket ICC cover i have seems to be more looking at you the driver [say 4 o'clock position] where as the dash cover looks more like the '5' o'clock position. i'm basically looking for confirmation of what goes where & how it sits.

i did a general internet search and found .... zilch [FG & BA covers not BA/BF Turbo covers....]

Thanks

The dash itself doesnt change between XT/XR/Turbo, all that changes is the trim colour and ICC spec (small/large/colour screen).
Or are you talking about gauge pods? If so, the FPV guage pod has the gauges on a different angle to the SAAS pod kit.

yes i'm meaning the gauges. the dash cover is either made for the original ford gauges or?. you can see why i'm asking re pics.

looking at the aftermarket gauge mounts from approx drivers seat

looking at the dash cover gauge mounts from approx where the cover lines em up

showing the gauges without the cover fitted

the above has been the best fitting aftermarket ebay covers i have found re fitting in the factory spot.

a previous batch

so that is why i'm asking. is the cover correct for the original FPV covers or are neither correct?.

Thanks

Ps. i'm not going turbo.

If you're after a dash mat, you're best off looking for one that has that triangle section cut out, i've found the moulded ones to be very hit and miss

have had a small chat with a member here [arm79] about it and have decided to keep going with what i have. i also found that there are 3 types of turbo ICC covers available .... 1st is the original factory cover [gauges look slightly to the rear], then the SAAS [which looks more towards the drivers face but only slightly] & then the ebay aftermarket turbo covers . . . . .. these point towards the drivers face so there is no covers suitable off the shelf and so the cover i have will need some work [like what D [] did with his wagooon carpet]. this is a long term item so no quick work here.

cheers

Ps. coz the covers had 'issues' i ended up paying roughly half for each one [i bought 2. one each from a differant seller so ended up paying roughly 22 & 16 bucks for em]. so i can't complain that much.
