try looking where the pedals are mounted on the firewall under the dash, its very common for AU's, and also ive heard of B series aswell with this problem...
One thing i tryed was to make sure any bits that seal around the steering coloum at the base were in place, and i havent noticed and water getting in so far. |

Is it a manual?
If so, the water is probably getting in through the firewall as mentioned above. GK

Take a good look at your windscreen seal, doesn't need to be much of a break in the seal to let in a lot of water, bottom corners are notorious. other possibility is leaves blocking the drain ports under the scuttle panel infront of the windscreen (the water usually drains out under the front guards).

definately a cracked firewall or pedal box.. maybe even both. Its a common problem with the manuals.
Dash has to come out, and reinforcement needs to be done around that area.. ie welding in steel plates. Had to do it to mine, well I had it done and it cost $350.. |

Yeah I had the same problem with my 5spd Falcon. Where I was from it never rained anyway, so it wasn't a big drama. With my XR8, fingers crossed, there is no problem with it.
