Default Finding a good mechanic in Brisbane

G'day guys, i'm a newbie and was wondering if anyone from Brisvegas could help me out.

I have a stock EFII Gli sedan (new wheels on the way soon!) and she has come up on her next service. Car is in very good condition (i inherited it from my grandfather) so don't anticipate any probs. I am in the St. Lucia/Toowong area and basically just wondered if there was anyone around that people could recommend. Also, could someone tell me what sort of money should i be looking at for a standard service?

Thanks guys

PS. Just in the last few days she has developed a problem of spitting out some coolant from the overflow pipe if worked hard after i shut her down. I know the heads can be a problem in E series but can't find any of the usual evidence of this problem. I was told it might be the radiator cap??

Dude, we have taken our cars to a local guy who used to be behind the Regatta Hotel at Toowong.

No bedside manners or flash workshop but he is good, honest and cheap.

He now works behind the brewery at Milton. He is a one man shop, but knows his stuff.

PM me if you want details.
