Hey everyone,
Im sorry im a total noob with cars i have tried the search for my queries but no immediate results, so.. Just wondering what are some of the easy quick cheap mods to help my AUII wagon have a bit more of a kick? i have had people tell me exhaust and chip are suppose to be the two main restrictions??? ...this true? if you could list a few of the mods and an estimated cost perhaps? if you could it would be awesome cheers |

One that most people do is get an XR6T snorkel and a K&N panel air filter. It won't make a huge difference but acceleration will increase slightly. Using ebay I got my snorkel for about $45 and the filter for $80ish.

there is a performance mods thread thats sticky im sure??
http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=47997 there it is get a 2.5" or 3" exhaust.. some extractors and a cat get a capa flash tuner from anywhere thats selling them(a few sponsors have them for a good price at the moment) and the XR6T snorkel (walk into ford and grab one as they are only about $35 new) and K&N panel filter will give you a decent gain

count me in on the XR6T snorkle! i just put one on my EF. combined with a Hi Flow filter and 3 inch hose going behind headlight. it has more go but throttle responce and intake noise were the big gains!

a larger snorkel on a restrictive intake pipe does as much as a 4" tip on a stock charade 1.5 exhaust

for around $100 you can get the 3" pipe and connect that to the box and hose as i have done if you continue through my build thread there somewhat. helps with the intake and looks nice because everybody loves shiny things! as far as cheap mods go it all depends on what you'd consider cheap i wouldn't consider extractors/exhaust/edit cheap mods but as far as real performance goes they are the best bang for your buck. a stallie and shift kit would probably be the next step i suppose. if your anything like falzoony then L.E.D's and neons are your friend!

Hey guys, sorry to highjack the thread with a STOOPID question but is the AUIII XR6 snorkle larger than the standard on the falcons or the same? Thanks in advance
