Yeh, there's a local one called the Dint Doctor. My uncle has used him before and did an awesome job. I need a dint removed on my Cougar. Uni carparks are notorious for dints. I even saw a person drive into another car(parked) when tryng to park. Mind you the driver was on the phone at the time aswell!

That really sucks mate....No respect and I feel for you...I just hate it when someone does that to your pride and joy....There's certain parts of Sydney I won't leave my car parked unattended. Then I find out today that the basement security car park of the block of units next door to mine had 12 cars damaged last Wednesday night...Windows broken, items stolen etc...It's for that reason I'm hesitant about buying something decent like an FPV or XR8.

I know insurance covers these sort of things but it's a real pain having to take time off wwork to get assessments done etc plus potential loss of no claim bonus

where do you get dry ice from? ... ill give it a go if i knew where to get it from...
the co2 comes as an air duster from electronics stores ...
i got mine from harvey norman supa center for $20 ...used up the can pretty quick...
its applied upside down so you get the liquid co2 which is much colder than your gas co2

I'm pretty sure dry ice is kinda hard to get. My old man is a research scientist and they have to sign for it.

Go to a winery for dry ice. Most decent wineries will have a snow machine.

My bro had a similar incident with his Liberty. He parked very carefully in a parking station where there were no other cars to either the front, left, or right of his. Came back half an hour later and found that some moron had clipped the front bumper on the right. Left some tasty white marks and scraped the paint off where the bumper sits under the headlights. The compression on the bumper also caused some of the bumper trim (fog light surrounds etc) to crack... so it doesn't look like it was a gentle 'tap' either!

Obviously, no cars were anywhere in the vicinity when he returned, so the bugger knew what he had done wrong and took off. Annoys me no end - whatever happened to personal responsibility?

Will post a pic of it tonight...

frinik - as for your problem removing the dents, would be great if you let us know how it goes, will need it at some point no doubt.

That really sucks when people do that to your car..... I left my nice shiny XR6 out the front of the g/f's house last weekend and some ... thing.... ( thats the best word i can use to describe it ) decided my car would look better with his Tag on it.

All in nice white texta, thank god for bug & tar remover and it came off a treat.. I was not impressed...

anybody know how much it is usually to get these things removed professionally? ...
i might give up on the dry ice idea and just get a paintless dent removal guy to do it. Not sure how theyll do the roof tho...do they remove the headliner?
