Gday I know there has been a few threads for manual conversions. I started one before but didn't get any response.
I really wanna put one in but I don't wana be taken to the cleaners or end up with a dud. So just a few questions... 1)What price am I looking at?? $2500 abouts?? 2)What type of place do I get to do it?? Should I be asking the transmission place?? My mechanic?? The wreckers?? 3)What Box?? Do you get a box from a wrecked car or does it come from the factory new?? What's a T5Z?? 4)I live in Norther NSW. So if anybody can recommend a workshop around Tamworth, Moree, Grafton, Armidale, Coffs Harbor, Lismore area would be appreciated. Thanks, |

2. Your trusted mechanic, who should have done one before. 3. T5 for an I6, T5z were for a V8 if IIRC. I'll be quickly corrected if I'm wrong about that though. 4. Can't help you there sorry. I reckon others will be able to do so though. All the best with it. GK
