Moderators – don’t know where to post this so I thought I’d whack it in project cars – move it to somewhere else if you feel it is appropriate.
The Challenge – find a car with a lot of sentimental value to me. I know it’s not a Ford but I’m posting here in the hopes that someone knows of one (a lot of people visit this website) or can direct me to someone who is willing to sell one. The Catch – spare me the puerile jokes and comments, everyone has heard them all before and they probably weren’t funny the first time. Remember this is for sentimental value. Okay, here is the challenge – I am trying to track down a mint, unmolested example of a 70’s Honda (round nose) Civic 2 door hatchback with the Hondamatic (2 speed Auto), preferably an EB3 but I wouldn’t turn my nose up at an EB2. Colour doesn’t matter (white would be a bonus). Something that is before the 1978 update. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Civic I’d love to get a “little old Granny” example that is spotless and well cared for as a nice, cheap, painless, little grocery getter that would make me smile. I know they are out there, I’ve followed little old ladies in their examples to carparks but the’ve always said that their cars are not for sale or they have promised to give it to someone else, etc.
