I would like to advise all that we have booked the date for this years GCAFD and to take advantage of the Gold Coasts fantastic whether we have moved the event to Sunday 10th August 2008.
I would like to personally invite your club to come along and display their vehicles for the day. Entry to the ground for entrants will be from 6.00am - 8.30am Entry for public from 9am. Cost $10 per car.(PRE Entry) $15 on the day. Spectators $5 per adult, kids free. Cars will have to be in place until 3pm. We will Have great trophies and prizes on the day as usual and a new judging program which includes you, the entrants, and guest judges, so you will have your say on what you believe should be the best vehicles their on the day. We have Performance Ford Magazine as the events major supporter, so come along for a chance to get your car in their great magazine. We will also be holding a Horsepower Hero's at this years event : it is a Dyno Dynamic dyno and is shootout accredited. There will be enough time for 50 cars on the day to compete, add your name and estimated HP to the list to hold your spot, prepay by the 10th July 2008 to secure it. Cost will be $50.00 which will get you 3 power runs and a laminated print out of your highest HP run. There will be trophies up for grabs in the following categories: Class 1 4 Cylinder N/A Class 2 4 Cylinder Forced Induction (XR5's will be included in this class) Class 3 6 Cylinder N/A Class 4 6 Cylinder Forced Induction Class 5 8 Cylinder N/A Class 6 8 Cylinder Forced Induction Lowest HP Highest HP Closest to dial in figure For any updates on the event please go Here I look forward to seeing you guys at this years event.
