Default Speaking of lights in the dash.....

the back light in my clock seems to have gone....maybe im just being lazy by asking here, but it maybe helpful to others as well. is it just one of those little jobbies like the rest of the dash, or is it part of the clock....meaning im going to have to get a new clock? S2 forte wagon

It's just a small globe in the back of the clock that twists out (same globe as used behind the miles lcd cluster on the dash below the speedo and tacho), although it is a pain to get to as you have to remove the dash facia to unplug the clock, and remove it to install the new globe.

P.S......I posted a "How To" ages back on here (with photos) on how to change the 1 single 'dim' globe in the clock with 3 tiny blue led's (any colour led you like realy).

Gl. cheers.

Save it for when you need to pull the dash out for something else.
Annoying job for a bulb.
Use your watch, mobile phone, turn on the interior light all easier

Strange thing while we are talking about clocks. I changed the clock when I sprayed that ovalish shaped part around it and the clock STILL doesnt work!!! Grrrr. The bulb was even changed aswell and nothing. I think it might be the fuse possibly, cos the clock shows time, just never lights up.
