Default Fairmont Ghia / Fairlane 11 Speaker question

I only just realised and read that Fairmont Ghia's and Fairlanes (not sure what models) come out with 11 Speakers set up..

i cant work out where the other speakers can be, beause that only comes to 7
2 - tweeters
4 - 5x9's
1 sub

where are they other 4 located ?

thanks

Default Fairmont Ghia / Fairlane 11 Speaker question

Where the yellow is.
Ford class them as 2 speakers.

Fab

ford call them speaker ELEMENTS as individual speakers..
so in the front doors theres 5x7 2 ways (speaker with tweeter mounted in the middle)
5x7 2 ways in the rear shelf
then cheapy tweeters in the A pillars
and 8" cheapy subwoofer in the rear shelf also

where did you get the 10 speakers from?

if you only have the standard system you only have 6.

standard sound didnt get splits in the doors and parcel shelf. just the 5x7's and the 2 tweeters in the A pillars.

well they certainly dont have anything on any of the aftermarket speakers kicking about
deb has response 6.5" kevlar splits in the front of hers with 2x 12" hertz subs in the boot and i have focal access(low end of range) 6.5" splits and 2x 15" JL audio subwoofers in mine
and both go WAY better and sound so much crisper than the stock setup

I bought those for my old car 3 years ago and never put them in, might have a go putting them in the TS.

What is she running in the back? Amp?

its running off the HU for now
( middle of the range JVC cd mp3 player)
as the terminal in the response amp we got stripped out when we swapped it from her old car.

needless to say it still sounds good
just lacks a little in the mid bass till we sort the amp out

I assume you're talking about the standard system in a Fairmont, cause my standard system in the Futura sure as hell isnt that advanced :P I wish I had tweeters in the A pillars, but I've only got the 2 5x7's in the front doors, and the 2 5x7's in the parcel shelf.

Although luckily because of brilliant parts exchangability between models I will soon have a lot of Fairmont/Fairlane audio equipment in my barebones 4 speaker system.
