Default Cant Sleep!! Getting Exhaust!

Call me crazy but i cant sleep.. its been a long time in the waiting lol..
i joined this forum back in 2006 hoping to slowly mod my XR8 like most the guys on here but i got crook and did a stint in hospital and came out on a tight budget but slowly getting there and tomorrow we get the exhaust done and im hoping for the best lol.. we couldnt afford to go twins and no one in town did custom jobs from the cat back so i got my local guy to get a 3" lukey cat back system in and his advice was to go with one box and a hotdog as this is the first time i have done this.
anyways it gets done tomorrow at 8am so im pumped and cant sleep lol.. im just glad to be back fightin fit and lovin fords :

Sorry, I misunderstood you, when you said you had your first up I was thinking of something else. Gotta get my mind out of the gutter.

Rofl! yer it delete P*ss on me hehe.
man i had some fun yesterday.. sorry no time for takin pictures and a sound video but i will get all that when the car comes out of the smash repairs.
couple weeks ago some bloke in a blue 1 tonne ford ute reversed out of the parking at my missus work and turned to early and swipped the rear quarter so it will be on over the weekend at the shop.
thing is he took off without saying a word or leaving a note (something i wouldnt expect from a ford driver) my missus boss got it on there security camera and we got all his details and i gave him a call and he said year i was going to call you and say sorry for scratching your car. i said you didnt just scratch it mate in the movie you shifted the back of the car about a foot.
i said why did you leave without saying a word anyway? he didnt tell me but i gave him the chance to do things right before i went to the police because i think he had a few schooners after work so he would have blew the bag im guessing.
anyway our insurance contacted his and all is good now

It's great when security cameras actually do their job!

Glad it's all in hand.

Dont worry mate, your gunna spend the next 24 hours taking any chance you can to jsut walk you rcar jsut to see that tip...

Then the next 18 months taking any chance you can to give the revs a punch as soon as anythign resembling a wall comes next to yo in the car so you can hear the sound bounce back to you ;) we all do it ;)

personally i would leave the hotdog off. i have a 3" single system on mine (not by choice, bought it like it) and when i bought it it had a hotdog and single muffler. now it just has a single muffler and its much better. hotdog's make it quite droney inside.

I would hope a hand built 220 would last longer than that when maintained.

I had my fill of caning cars years ago, now it's more about seeing how slow the fuel guage goes down instead of how quick the tacho spins.

Oh i love getting new sports exhausts on my cars or mates cars, or any mods for that matter. But I always look forward to exhausts more.
the whole morning before i got mine done i was so excited i was bouncing off the walls haha.
It was all worth the wait for the note it puts out now .

I think a nice balance is ideal. It does get frustrating when you want that tacho to spin like crazy though.
