Just wondering how many have been on the BIG wheel yet and what did you think ? (Did a search but carn't find another thread)
Personally I reckon it was good @ $29 maybe a bit dear but for a one off thing not to bad and you get free parking for the 1st hour and a $5 max. for all day, We did a day time lap this time but would definetly go back next time and do a night time lap.

Note to self next time bring another camera better than the phone :togo:

I think it rotates pretty slowly so you have plenty of time to look around, but it is a bit expensive isn't it?

I've always wanted to see what the factories in the west looked like from above.

You've saved me 29 bucks.

Thanks for sharing your pics Whoosha, I have seen this being built as i do regular runs to Bayswater in the work truck over the Westgate.

The Mrs and I think it's a bit expensive for our family to go on but as you said, its possibly a one off as once you've done it, how often will we do it again.

I wouldn't mind doing the Eureka Skydeck: http://www.eurekaskydeck.com.au/

Thanks again for sharing your pics. They're great.

Adam.

Carriages hold up to 24 people but we were there at 10am and most were just 4 to a pod

The whole circuit takes 29 min. so if you look straight ahead it barely feels like its moving, top of the loop is 120mts. and feels like you have stopped till you look straight down : also at the peak it takes your photo from the trailing pod .

Yeah its sort of pricey but they have consesions and kids prices ext. but at least you don't get ripped with the parking, will probably go again but not in day time, may be night time with group of us going in or if some mates from out of town :

$29.00 for 15 minute ride. Thats way too pricey. That works out to be $116.00 per hour. Maybe Im not getting paid too easily per hour at work to blow my hard earned cash per hour I get. No where near this.............

My wife and kids are not listed either. 29.00 + 29.00 plus 2 kids whats that cost?
