Default WP WQ WS - Owner Manuals

Howdy Peeps,

Ive managed to get a hold of the European Owner Manuals for all Fiesta Models (WP/WQ , WS). These seem to have more information than the Australian ones. Hopefully these will able to assist the Fez Community.

WP/WQ - Linky

WS - Linky

Hey guys, I was just scanning through the posted manuals and it states that min fuel requirement is 95RON. Is this the minimum for our Aussie cars too? I completely overlooked that fact and didn't realise until now. Any input from current WS Fiesta owners?

Cheers thanks for that. Was thinking that if it needs a min of 95RON, then might as well get the ECU remapped to suit 98RON and squeeze a little bit more power of out it with a K&N or BMC air filter and maybe an exhaust system.

Thanks Mista Fiesta, that is fantastic.

I thought the owner's manual was a bit substandard. Now I understand why. It's for the local market (and perhaps NZ) only.

In my opinion it is dangerously substandard in one respect and I do hope Ford are monitoring this and take heed. There is no explanation in the manual about what is meant by "Double Locking". I've never encountered it before, but looked it up on the internet. I'm wierd - most owners won't do this.

On page 30 of the Euro manual it warns, "Do not activate double locking when
persons or animals are inside the vehicle. You [they] will not be able to
unlock the doors from the inside if you have double locked them."

It is not hard to imagine the potential litigation if young kids are trapped in an overheating car and can't open the doors.

And to RON:

I'll start another thread on this.

Just wanted to bump this, as a few WS owners seem to be missing lots of info in their manuals.
