Simple and probably obvious one but here goes:
What name/description is given to older cars that get modernised? There is a specific term I have heard but can't for the life of me remember. It would be the category you'd put say a 69 Mustang with all 2010 gear in it. Thanks in advance, Scott |

What would kustom kulture be defined as? You know, chopped oldschool, ratted, hotrod, lo-rider, pinup girls, tattoos and odd piercings etc?

Pretty sure XW and XR GT had drums all round, not sure about 3 on the tree however.

Hard to find stopping data for old falcons, so i went with the next best option.
65 mustang, 4 wheel drums, no booster, 60mph-0, 162.2 feet 07 Roush Mustang GT, standard brakes, 60mph-0 142.42 feet Seems to me that we haven't gone that far forward. The only problem with drums is they don't cool effectively. |

The best thing along these lines I have seen was "The SN65 Project". Its a combination of new tech in old skin, and old skin on new tech. Either way, it's an awesome project and result. www.sn65.com

SN65 is a brilliant example. I love mod-cons too much to ever bother with an all-out muscle car but love Coupes/Hatchbacks/Fastbacks too much to never own one.

i have always known it as pro touring, but i have mainly read about such cars in american car mags. jay leno's buick roadmaster is a good example of this type of car modifying:
http://www.seriouswheels.com/cars/to...r-Jay-Leno.htm i know it's gm but meh...

i love the look of old cars, but i like the performance & reliability of new ones. i've always wanted to do this kind of thing.
always had a fantasy of a very sexy XY falcon body with new engine/interior & stuff. i'll win lotto one day & pull it off. |

Whats unreliable about an XY with a 351 clevo, toploader, and 9 inch? I doubt you have ever owned an old car by your post. Atleast if something stuffs up in an old car, a turn or two of a screwdriver fixes it! |
