Hi ladies and gents,
I haven't been here in a while so apologies if this is the wrong forum to post. Does anyone know of a metal fabrication place that will do a small one-off job in south-east Melbourne? (Preferably near Dandenong/Mulgrave/Glen Waverley area.) I'm after some 3mm aluminium sheet to be cut to shape and size. It's only about 200mm x 200mm with a few angles and holes. Thanks in advance. Luke

PM me as I know a company that can do the job at a reasonable price as they specialise in alloy,,,, or if it`s not too complex i can fabricate it for you as I have a TIG & know my way around alloy quite well. Iv made throttle body mods etc at home, the only things I dont have are a gillotine & a folder at home, & yes I have a lathe too. btw I`m in Dandy too

While I was waiting for a phonecall from Xrated to see if he wanted me to do this simple job at home [atm still no call tho] I figured that others in the forum maybe able to use the company I used to work for`s services. They specialise in S/S & alloy fabrication to a very high standard. I helped get the company up & running in its early days & still remain on very good terms with everyone there.
http://www.jpacengineering.com.au/ Theres not much they cant do there. I left there to work for myself at home in alloy & S/S & did quite well too up until I started working on an invention which took over bigtime. Cost me all my time & left none for other ppl`s work [as well as a bucket-load of money] But,,, thats for a totally different thread if I am allowed to post such stuff on here. cheers rij |
