Generally i hit up a Glaceu Vitamin water and a HEALTHY breakfast. Cereal, fruit etc. I generally feel better quicker this way.
Often subway and the vitamin water aswell. Does the trick most times. |

Don’t drink mate.
I find having a sandwich and some water before going to bed helps….or just having a good ol chunder.

Berocca to start, KFC with all the trimmings for breakfast then BBQ for lunch / dinner.
Great way to spend a lazy sunday, and pack stupid amounts of lard on |

Lots and lots of water before you go to bed. At least 6 glasses.
If that doesn't work then accept you need to drink a little less.

Sometimes I get hangovers after 5 beers. It's pathetic. I drink 1.2 litres of water before bed after drinking alot. Helps stop hangover but then you gotta **** all the time.

I used to finish every big night with a tomato juice and packet of salt and vinegar kettle chips...worked every time...didn't do it one night, blew 0.04 at 11am the next day when I went to check if right to drive...
Nowadays, I always have a water in between each drink...no hangover, and extra cash in my pocket...

I go with taking a panadol as soon as I get home (from the night's events) and wash that down with berocca and a big glass of water...
wakes me up fresh as a daisy the next day!!!

When you wake up - even if it's at 4am to take a leak, have more panadol and another berocca (I use Hairy Lemon sometimes too). The only other thing I do is use eye drops before bed and when I wake up then as I trot out the hotel room door for my morning meeting. |

another thing to remember is most booze actually causes dehydration (mostly because once you break the seal, you keep going)...a mate used to swear by a berocca BEFORE drinking, perhaps that's a go?
Two things I did find, which may be helpful... Quote:

Nothing before bed, no point taking the fun out of the drink.
When I get up, greasy brunch. After that it's usually after 1200 so I'm back on the alcohol

Commercial beers have more preservative in them than they used to (and less alcohol). I noticed recently that my hangovers are worse from drinking less these days. It's related to the preservatives. Boag's Draught is the worst for me. I love the beer but after 4 I know I'll have a headache the next day, so no more Boag's Draught in my fridge any more.
I make homebrew. No preservatives, no hangovers.

Canteloupe (rockmelon)
Bananas Oranges Apricots Avocado Strawberries Potatoes Tomatoes Cucumber Cabbage Cauliflower Chard Bell pepper Eggplant Squash Crimini mushrooms Brussels sprouts Turmeric Parsley Spinach Broccoli Tuna Halibut and funnily enough, chocolate. Just be careful as too much potassium (more than 3500mg per day) can cause issues for your kidneys and heart...

Why not just drink less...or drink more slowly? It is perfectly possible to go out, get buzzed, have a good time and not wake up with a cracking hangover...

Going to the beach for an early morning swim , or dunking head in a laundry tub full of cold water that was ice the previous night to keep the beers cold

Drink as much water as you can after your drinking session before you go to bed, if I have to get up early the next morning and dont want to feel like crap I will drink between 1-2 litres of water. Works a treat for me.

Hydralite... its for people suffering from gastro or similar things which make you extremely dehydrated... a mate got me onto it, and i've never looked back.
you can get it from chemists in 20pks. |

Water alone is not sufficient as you need to replace the lost salts but in order to do this you have to have sugar at the same time. Hydralyte/Gastrolyte/Pedialyte are composed of a mix of salts and sugar. A possibly more convenient but not as effective remedy is gatorade or powerade. B vitamins are over-rated. |

1) Dont mix drinks
2) Drink water aswell 3) Completely sober up before going to sleep, even if it means losing a few hours sleep to do so, this method has never failed me Or just drink less, i dont understand how people get so much 'fun' out of being completely wasted, not remembering a thing, then feeling like crap the next day. Drinking mildly is cheaper, more enjoyable (imo) and to boot you dont feel like crap the next day.
