I've been trying to change my profile image from a JPEG to a GIF but keep getting the following message:
You may not upload animated images. I thought at first maybe AFF doesn't allow GIFS, but there are quite a few members who have GIFS as there profile pictures/avatars so i'm confused. |

If the system detects that the gif is an animated one then it won't be allowed as only static gifs are displayed. If you are unsure whether it is animated or not then try to view the file in your web browser and you will soon see.
