Default BA/F Keypad on AU2/3

Hey all

a search reveals mixed answers on this subject.

Can a BA/F keyless entry keypad be trained to work on an AU2/3? I know the AU1 has a different system but AU2 on and B series are similar from what i can tell. Does it work or not? Some say no, some say with work.

cheers.

As whoosha says. It's a bit late in the game to be finding out new stuff about AU's now, i'm going to declare that pretty much everything worth doing to an AU has been done, or has been found to be far too much hassle.

Ba ones aren't much better than AU ones, end of they day they are both poorly designed units, the AU1/EF ones were the best designed ones, unfortunantly obsolete!

i find the angles on the face of the AU2/3 remote really annoying - the EL was ok but very cheap feeling, BA was a good all round feeling unit.

oh well, thanks for the replies
