Unhappy Selling up...

Well the time has come to say goodbye to my little Fez, circumstances have changed & we've decided we need a car that both of us can drive (the poor 'handicapped' woman I live with can't drive manual), and I drive my work car most of the time. So yesterday after nearly 3 years & 25,000kms we got a fantastic deal on a new car.

I'm willing to bet no-one can guess what we bought.
Its got:
4 doors
ABS
EBD
EBA
ESP with ASR & understeer control
8 Airbags
5 star NCAP rating
Auto W/screen wipers
Auto H/lights
Cruise/Speed limiter
Climate control
HUUUUGGGGEEEEE boot 520litres

And its European....
all for less than 26,000

Any Guesses?

Hmm ok i looked it up and it pretty much has the same features you have listed...

I originally thought the Renault Megane Expression or Dynamique but bootspace was less.

thats the one, thats the colour, steel grey, I've gotta check out what wheels are available, hopefully I'll pick up some 19's for a good price (I know a bloke...)
Delivery is about 2 weeks away.

The best part is the engine, same as a Nissan SR20, plenty of mods down the track

Looks classy? Personally not my cup of tea, but if your one of those people who are willing to just settle then it should be just right. By the sounds of it, your not, and should have known better.

So you didn't settle, and got an 03 Fairmont Ghia? Interesting... so hows that resale hey?! :

I initially thought it was a VW Jetta FSI or something, because i know they have a huge boot. Anywho enjoy the Renault, dont take any notice of anyone that says french cars are unreliable, the new ones are as or more reliable than any other car on the market. Especially o3 Fairmont Ghia's :P

Finally got it, within 1hour of picking it up the wheels were on. 19" Koya Ambush' , hyper-black with a stainless steel lip, with 235/35R19 Yokohama V103.
(Yes I got an awesome price)

Now for some pics, BUT before you all say it I know it needs lowering, the Eibachs are on the water now, should arrive at the end of the month.
Thanks for all the positive comments, as for the others maybe thats just part of being a public forum, any monkey with a computer can make themselves look stupid.
"PEFRORMANCE SIXBANGER" ?? Oxymoron anyone?

Anyway here you go

New car looks nice Carey, I saw your Fiesta yesterday, it was in the carpark here at work (Royal Children's Hospital).......I presume you sold it?

I knew the car straight away with those alloy wheels on and the big sticker from your work on the back windscreen, looked very nice...."but of course you probably don't want to hear that."

Yeah you're right, missing it already (damn autos) I traded it in at Metro European down the road from you, maybe they've sold it already?
Still happy with the Meg though, just a different kettle of fish
