Default Toyota to tow Space Shuttle Endeavour in LA

You know, I'm a bit cranky about this. There was a competition recently to come up with ideas for the Ford Ranger to show how strong it was. Quite a NUMBER of people suggested that it be used to tow a Space Shuttle.

And here we are, Toyota has jumped on the idea and run with it.

Another EPIC FAIL for Ford Marketting.......

Ford, we're just handing you all these great ideas - and what do you do with them? Call us all nutbags and toss them to Toyota?

Epic Fail would have been to try and fail.

How do you know they didn't look at the numbers and see the risk? The Toyota looks to be bigger and more powerful - 5.7lt V8????

Nah just a base model F250 Superduty with the 6.7L Power stroke turbo diesel.

That thing could tow the Tundra, and the Space shuttle. Now that would be one to have over Toyota.

Or a Louisville truck of the same vintage as the Shuttle.

A mate rented a Tundra in the USA earlier this year, and said it was an awesome truck.
