Default Best of 2012

In relation to the Worst of 2012 that was promptly locked by our finest for being in the wrong area, what are some of your best moments of 2012?

Mine would have to be starting a fresh mid year. New job, new surroundings, new car, new friends. Starting to look up for me again so hopefully it continues into 2013.

Finally getting my SS Commodore after wanting one for over 10 years, but now have to sell it due to another 'best of' which is buying a house closer to friends and family and moving back to Newcastle.

And I know it is best of thread but I have to balance my good with the 'worst of' of having to get my 11 year old Alaskan malamute put down, was the best dog ever - big gentle giant. Will be missed for a long time to come.

Traveling to the USA. It was great and I can't wait to go back.

Also becoming fully qualified in my job was a good feeling.
Lot more money. Lot more responsibility.

I was pretty happy about buying my first house, but that joy didn't last long. I know always have my hand in my pocket paying for something around the house.
Hate it.

List of positive things:

You did not own a Holden.
You lived in Queensland.
You did not live in Melbourne or Sydney.
You saw Ford take the crown for the fastest production car ever with the GT-RSpec, been a long time since the Phase 3 GTHO.
You did not live in Melbourne or Sydney.
You saw the slowest FPV be quicker than the fastest HSV.
You did not live in Melbourne or Sydney.
You saw QLD win State of Origin (well yes that is getting a bit repetitive).
Did I mention you do not live in Melbourne or Sydney?

And the most important thing. If 2012 is the worst year than 2013 and all the ones after it are going to be better.....

True
Always awesome
I did once upon a time (not Sydney)
I read it
I did once upon a time (not Sydney)
Really?
I did once upon a time (not Sydney)
That's always a given. Up the Maroons.
I did once upon a time (not Sydney)

I hope 2013 is a better year, would like a car to play with and a new job.

2012 hasn't held any real outstanding milestones for me, unless something unexpected happens before Dec 31.

The best moment for me was that night I stayed up and watched Marcos Ambrose win his second Sprint Cup series race.

2012 has been overall a good year.
- Finished the DOHC convesion, and like most things it got out of control.
- Ran a 10 in it, with lots of issues.

Hired a camper and drove Melbourne to Darwin exploring along the way. After buying a van and drivinng europe for 6 months it really made me love what we have here.

For me, it would be recently giving up the smokes, and a mate getting his double lung transplant lastweek.

And hope this time next year I will be able to say from 115kg>85kg, but we'll have to wait 12 months and see!
