Default Favorite car movie

What's your favorite car movie?

I'm a fan of the Fast and Furious series and love the Nicholas Cage version of Gone In 60 Seconds...... Eleanor

Suffering with CRAFT disease at the moment and cannot remember the name of the movies. Either the original with the minis running through the streets of Rome or where the guy dies in the end driving into two bulldozers parked across the road.

Cheers Vincenzo

For me it's "Duel" and "Christine" , both real edge of the seat movies in their day.

Oh god, where to start?
Got to put Running On Empty at the top of course, but after that is a huge list...The Car, Dual, Bullitt, Vanishing Point, Gone IN 60 Seconds (original and new version), any of the Fast and Furious films, the live action Initial D (seriously...if you don't mind subtitles, track it down and watch it. No special effects, all the drifting was done for real)...the list just keeps on going.

Love the dialog in Running On Empty
-"Spotto a '57 Chevy, a blown '57 two door"
- "That's a sweet noise you got there man, I had you picked clear across the valley"
- "Green is nice"

Although the car doesn't feature prominently in the movie, I think most people on here would have a similar love for their car like Walt Kowalski does in Gran Torino
