They've been around for a while, usually retail for ~300ish. I've never seen one first hand to assess the quality, but the design gets my tick of approval. It's using the headlight cavity for airflow but also retains the snorkle which is a good thing. Air filter would be a cheapy, but for $162 I wouldn't complain.

Looks pretty decent for $162, i'd be changing to a higher quality air filter though.

Got mine and put it in. Huge difference in throttle response. As for performance. I don't know if there's any difference. Might just be a placebo but It seems to get up and go quicker doesn't wait 2 seconds and then goes.

It doesn't look any worse than some of the other similar ones going for $500+

If it sounds alright, and your seat of the pants dyno says it is good, what more can you ask for $160?
If you've got the money for a 'brand name' airbox setup or you want to do some hardcore custom set-up go for it, but if it has some positive effect to sound or power, no matter how small, I can't see this being a bad mod. But then again, I spent $200 just for the herrod intake snorkel for my BA XR8, which did basically nothing that I could tell. Looks good but |

I don't remember any change in sounds when I swapped the factory box for a Growler, I do drive with the windows down pretty much always, maybe that drowns it out? |

They're made by Autotecnica, they're not a Repco thing I have them at work too.
Not bad but you can do better and yes the filter is cheap and nasty. The idea works well but at the very least you would change the filter.
