How good does the EF still look so many years later. Where did Ford's designers and marketing department go?

This is really good too, a 12 minute film about the Outback Ute from 1995:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ewv0XUWoQI

they spend the time explaining what the product is, why it is good at what it was designed for, how it was extensively tested in a no-nonsense way.

"The more Ford listened, the more Ford learned that in 1990s Australia some outback operators don't need a 4wd vehicle as much as you might think. If they could get a 2wd ute with extra ground clearance, more traction and greater durability - well, that would be very nice, thank you."

In 1995 ford could have NOT advertised falcon and still sold the same amount, the market was vastly different then.

What happened? All the baby boomers who once drove falcons moved onto more prestigious vehicles and those kids from the 80s and 90s are contented driving High Undies and Toy Cars?

My baby bonner dad moved to a mondeo titanium. More kit and not as large. That's what happened. Most mates of mine(late 20's) all have euro hatches or tray back Utes. I'm the only one with an Aussie ute
