Hi
Finally decided that it's my turn in the group to buy a brand new car.. Everyone around me is buying one and I couldn't shirk off my turn any longer.. I've narrowed my decision to a brand new Toyota Aurion or a FG-X falcon XT. (I'm still keeping my other cars mind you) To save a few bucks I could even go Camry.. Which is the best of these cars? aurion does look a little plane Jane but has the firepower under the hood and it's nice enough inside. The FG-X is also a nice car, probably a little slower than the aurion but should be more torquey. It's a new shape that hasn't really hit the mark in my eyes but overall no better or worse looking than an aurion. Feature for feature they are both nice enough. aurion is actually cheaper than fg-x falcon and Toyota probably screws their cars together a little better? So aurion v fg-x falcon?? |

Oh and whilst you're at it Hulk, you should also look into a VF Berlina. Last edited by Trump; 04-08-2015 at 12:38 PM. |

Unless you buy a V8 you'll forever feel like you're not quite up to the standard of your friends with a 'pretend' motor. Sure it does all the stuff you need, but the image!! the image!!

im leaning towards the aurion to be honest. a bit more compact, faster, better on fuel, toyota reliability. Toyota also cheaper and holds its value better second hand. The Aurion motor dispatches most V8's.
Someone sell me the FG-X over the Aurion? |

Its a legit question. Most non ford people would automatically say Aurion but as Im a ford person I consider the FG-X.

I'd double check that 5s figure Hulkster as it looks a tad argumentative and not much else. PS------as posted above it's the replies that give these threads life. Swim away....swim away.....

Aurion (screaming) couldn't dispatch my stock AU3 XR8 ute on gas (hardly a rocket), so what V8s does it dispatch exactly?

I reckon an Aurion would look of if you blacked-out all the chrome.

The worse thing about FWD Toyotas is the dead steering... The dynamics are chalk and cheese compared to a Falcon, which is much superior.
