The new Holden (Chevrolet) "Ute Force"

I noticed this at a my High School reunion in South Africa. They have traded the "Bakkie" for the Aussie term "Utility" and here his the top of the range, the Chevrolet Ute Force. Should sell well over here as the Commodore ute replacement. It even comes with Bow Tie badges.

i'll tell you why, from the chevrolet website:

The Chevrolet Utility bakkie showcases the unmistakably strong, bold and global new Chevrolet face.

I don't know why big car companies think they need a 'corporate face' on their cars, but it fugs up the design of every car that has it forced on it.

eg: Chrysler put the Lancer's round face on a square Magna body...

No.........no I think that ute is by far the ugliest rolling **** I have ever seen. Can you imagine the head of design at gm going "yep that looks good let's lock that in".
