Just wondering which of these 2 would give most performance to a v8 being the tickford has press bends an the xr8 mini mandrel bends (not sure of pipe size) an because catylitic converters are attached which has a better cat in terms of flow an quality

AFAIK, XR8 Tickford are the same ,the only difference I know of is the AUXR8 220kw have better flowing cat converters and no heat shields. Cheers.

I have a stock 220kw AU & have been researching best exhaust systems for the street. These recommendations are based on stock internals & a system that takes advantage of the low end torque & sounds tough. Pacemaker or Advance will both do the job, stock cats are fine & use a Manta 3'' single OR have a dual 2&1/4'' system made. As many have pointed out to me, dyno tuning is done at wide open throttle which doesn't happen much with street driving, so be aware of 'Race Proven' and words like that. I have decided on ceramic coated Advance headers, a single 3'' system with some decent mufflers. I may or may not use after market cats as I don't think there is any real gains for a stock motor. Good luck. The answer to your question is neither. One may give a few HP more at some point but they will be so close it doesn't matter.

The tickford 4 into 1 pipes are crimped up near the flange the stock xr8 design I thought would flow better down low an have better catylitic converters

There the same. The t-series engines had ceramic coating which make them look like stainless steel and the 220kw and 250kw engines had 1.8 litre cats all other engines had 1.3 litre cats.

I have decided on a set of Advance headers which I'm getting coated in a grey colour to help look stock, I will keep the cats most likely, and buy the Manta 3'' single. I will post when done.

What does the difference in cats off the 220 an 250kw mean in flow are they more hi flow or same just bit bigger ..if never heard them described in litres...so the are quite a bit bigger with a 5 litre diffrence
