Hi, between now and January I'm buying a MD Mondeo Titanium Diesel (Preferably Hatch) as my first car. Have been working hard to earn enough for the past four years!
If anyone is looking at selling theirs in the near future, please let me know! I understand the used car market is in a bad place currently. Thanks, Sam. |

There are a number on Carsales in the mid $20K region with less than 60000km, but if you are looking for a private sale to minimise the cost, then remember you will not get much, if any, warranty. Also remember that at 160,000km there is a service that will involve a timing belt change. Don't expect this to be less than $1000 including the "ordinary" service items. If you are mechanically minded it is a DIY possibility. See Cobrin's post on his experience, earlier in this thread, and Alan Howatt on You Tube has a useful video on what is involved. Cheers

Where are you based I may be thinking of selling mine as since covid I am working at home all the time, I purchased as I had a long commute, and it is one of the most frugal and comfortable cars for a long Freeway drive. Late 2017 Pearl white Titanium High 50k Nearly All freeway FSH.

I am in Melbourne (Dingley) it is on Novated lease so I need $27, which you could probably get one for a dealer for similar money.

I had better keep my existing one for now as I really can't find any reason apart from like me is getting old. No probs at all with mine and biggest expense in 5 years was a new set of tires and a new battery. That is with 241K(I think) on the clock, low fuel consumption and no oil used. No wonder I love it!
