Those belts mean nothing. Handy boxer but hardly near the elite. I'd say even Horne better and he was no where near world class either. |

You’d think a motoring site would recognise the difference between a Fairmont and a GT

The beauty of this car is all the hard work is done, get it at the right price and a quick makeover to suit yourself will be a piece of pizz.....

Aside from changing the shifter and that dash out, I really like this car. Those seats look a lot more comfortable and supportive than the standard ones. Tail lights are.... different.
Curious to know how much it goes for. |

Small block Ford 4.38" Small block Chevy 4.40" Small block Mopar 4.46" If we consider just the big 3, id say a big block starts at 4.80" bore space, which is the chrysler/dodge big blocks and hemis. Out of the big 3, the mopar/chrysler big block is the smallest big block, with a 4.80" bore space. Big chevy is 4.84" and Ford is the largest with 4.9" |

It can get a little confusing though as there were "big blocks" with under 400ci and small blocks over 400ci Even more so these days where you can get huge overbores and stroker kits for say a small block Chev to take it up to 454ci or a 351 Windsor to 460ci ;) Fords V8's varied quite a bit, the Windsor small block went from 221-427ci, the 385 big block went from 370-514ci, the 335 Cleveland went from 302-400ci and that is just in factory sizing's before any aftermarket boring/stroker kits

Some of you lot are carrying on like pork chops.
People personalise their cars all the time, and guess what? Sometimes they sell them. It’s not hard to change… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If I bought it, I'd do the following:
- Original or similar look for the tail lights - Remove green dash surrounds - Haltech IC-7 dash cluster - Remove boxing tributes - Remove bonnet scoop - Ford 7.3L OHV conversion + 10 speed auto The rest of it is mint, its like picking up a 95% finished project you just need to do the finishing touches to/some personalisations. Might keep the green theme but put some ethnic touches in it, baroque style chairs but on rails so they move back/forward like a normal car seat |

The problem with this car is the personalisation will cost a decent wedge to unwind. Say you’re lucky enough to score it for 150$, there’s probably another 50$ in interior and body rectification.
And then you have a Fairmont coupe that owes you 200$... |

There will be 2 types of people who remember, those who own them and those who want them.
