How can you love cars and not love the Big Steal?
And feel a little affected by the passing of Marshall/Desmond. Can honestly say i never knew his name as I don't watch TV much, but the movie had so many characters playing the right parts in this long piece of Aussie silliness it wouldn't have been complete without Desmond and the fabled Cedric. Oh and the Pintara. And the Jag, which wasn't a car, it was a JAGUAR.

Classic movie.. and still a favorite I watch from time to time... When I read he had passed, The Big Steal was the first thing I thought of.. The story was all about Mclouds Daughters/water rats/police rescue and didnt even mention the Big Steal which I thought was a shame, he was great in it...

Ok last week, my friend, my wife and I watched Grease. Olivia died the next day. Last night, we watched The Big Steal. All I keep thinking about is Desmond Johnson saying “you people are jinxed!” He also made a small appearance on “Babe.”
