Anyone know how to remove the gear stick for a 2004 ba xr6?
Was looking at replacing and have not the slightest idea of how to do it.

If you are referring to the gear knob, it should unscrew (anticlockwise).
If you want to remove gear lever, remove knob, pull out boot cover from console and undo the 2 bolts. And that's about it! :eclipsee_

Nashy , before selling my EF XR6 , i got a ba gear nob and sticj and put it in . On the BA's its quite easy , just give a gentle nudge upwards to that silver ring around the base of the leather boot and it will pull up over the stick, theres just two bolts holding it in place with a rubber bracket , very simple operation. many sticks fit in , especially the new short stick that a lot of performance mobs are making up for the BAs
